There are attempts to destabilize the socio-political situation in Kazakhstan. This was stated by deputy of the Mazhilis, member of the Amanat party faction Yerlan Sairov.
In the context of a large-scale natural cataclysm, it is during this difficult period for the country that some representatives of "old Kazakhstan" are trying to take advantage of the situation, Yerlan Sairov believes. According to the parliamentarian, the revanchist forces are making repeated attempts to sow chaos in society and arrange political destabilization.
"Let me remind you that according to the Constitution, we have a legitimate President – this is Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. Our task is to strictly comply with the norms of the Constitution, and we are ready to defend it. In fact, these are not just critical remarks, these are attempts by revanchist forces to create political destabilization in order to regain power. Who are they? First of all, these are those who got rich under the previous President by appropriating people's money, and they want to return to their former lives," the deputy said in an interview with the YouTube channel Abai live.

Yerlan Sabirov stressed that there are signs of an organized campaign to discredit the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, including through challenges on social networks.
"All this is happening in an organized manner, and this is not criticism, this is a threat to the state when there is disunity and division of people in our country. These are actions that are contrary to the law. Such actions pose a real threat, but we must show unity and cohesion by all means. I think that in our country the people understand everything and will not succumb to any provocations of those forces that are trying to take power into their own hands bypassing constitutional mechanisms," the Majilisman stressed.
