The political system of Kazakhstan is steadily evolving. Throughout the three decades of our independence, we have followed the path of democratization and strengthening the sphere of human rights protection.
Kazakhstan is committed to its international obligations and the universal principles of human rights and the rule of law. We will never deviate from the trajectory of further political modernization. We have come a long way over the past thirty years to build our state from scratch. And we will do our best to protect our democracy and our people from any illegal interference both at home and abroad.
We are against political extremism. We are against destructive approaches in human rights activities – manifestations of aggression, alarmism, egocentrism, hatred, vanity, envy, vindictiveness and cynicism.
We attach particular importance to constructive criticism from the civil sector and call on government agencies to respond openly and constructively to this criticism.
Our cultural heritage, our upbringing in the spirit of good neighborliness and mutual assistance have always allowed us to find mutually acceptable ways for the progressive development of our country.
We are for evolutionary progressive development, for an open and equal dialogue between the government and society.
